Cloaked
Cloaked and hidden
Taken from the world
Seen but unseen
There and gone
All in a flash
Ignored and thrashed
Until life shattered
The cloak was not chosen
The cloak grew on
Until it seamed
The cliff was falling
But the cloak was on
And no one saw
And no one rescued
One day they found
The empty cloak
Deprived of life
Its owner hidden
And missing from life
Hidden from the world
And now hidden from light
